Dark Mountain Camp Day Four - We Built a Hexayurt May 28, 2010

We finally have it up, we have a Hexayurt (or as I'm calling it, a 'Flexi-yurt' on account of the fact the panels are all bendy). It was a gigantic effort, but worth it from the building team (mostly Tony, Julia and Chris in the end).

The Hexayurt is made from hardboard, except its not very good hardboard... It's then stitched together plus gaffer taped for waterproofing the joins. It's really nice inside and Vinay has givern it his approval plus design suggestions. He thinks we can make more...
